Mika Abdalla is an
American actress who first gained widespread recognition as a talented
young star in television and film. Born and raised in Plano, Texas,
she began her journey in the entertainment industry at a young age,
starting as a child model before booking early roles on programs like
Barney & Friends. Balancing her blooming career with academics, she
graduated from high school a year early with honours. She later
attended the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where she
earned a bachelor's degree in film and philosophy.
Her major breakthrough arrived when she was cast as the lead
character, McKeyla McAlister, in the Emmy-nominated Netflix original
series Project Mc˛. Running for six seasons, the show focused on
promoting STEM education for young girls and earned Abdalla a Young
Artist Award nomination for her leading performance. Following this
success, she successfully transitioned into more mature roles,
starring in the Hulu teen comedy Sex Appeal and appearing in the
coming-of-age feature film Snack Shack.
Abdalla has continued to expand her television resume with prominent
projects. She secured a role in the HBO Max medical drama The Pitt and
was cast as Sierra Carson in the legal drama spinoff Suits LA. Most
recently, she captured widespread attention by starring as Allie Hayes
in the Amazon Prime Video romance series Off Campus, further cementing
her status as a versatile and rising talent in contemporary
