BIOGRAPHY

Brec Marie Bassinger is an American actress who first discovered her love for performing through natural beauty pageants during her childhood in Saginaw, Texas. Growing up as a versatile athlete, she participated in competitive cheerleading, volleyball, basketball, and track and field. Driven by her passion for performance, she began taking acting classes as a child and relocated to Los Angeles with her mother at the age of 13 to professionally pursue her career.

She quickly gained widespread recognition as a teenager when she landed the leading role of Bella Dawson in the Nickelodeon comedy series Bella and the Bulldogs. Her career continued to ascend as she transitioned into more mature roles, most notably starring as Courtney Whitmore in the critically acclaimed superhero series Stargirl. Her compelling portrayal of the titular DC character earned her significant industry recognition, including winning two consecutive Saturn Awards for Best Performance by a Younger Actor in a Television Series.

In addition to her extensive television success, Bassinger has established a strong presence in film across various genres. She made her feature film debut in the survival horror 47 Meters Down: Uncaged and later starred in the independent thriller The Man in the White Van. More recently, she reached a new career milestone by starring in the supernatural horror film Final Destination: Bloodlines, which achieved critical praise and became her highest-grossing cinematic release to date.
