Lily Jane Collins is a
British-American actress, producer, and model who began her on-screen
career at just two years old on the BBC sitcom Growing Pains. The
daughter of musician Phil Collins, she relocated from England to Los
Angeles as a child following her parents' divorce. As a teenager, she
discovered a strong passion for broadcast journalism, writing columns
for major teen fashion magazines and covering a U.S. presidential
election for Nickelodeon before studying communication at the
University of Southern California.
She successfully transitioned into mainstream Hollywood cinema with
her supporting role in the acclaimed sports drama The Blind Side. She
quickly earned leading roles in major studio features, playing Snow
White in the fantasy comedy Mirror Mirror and starring in the young
adult adaptation The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones. Demonstrating
exceptional range, she balanced these commercial projects with
emotionally complex performances in independent features, earning
critical praise for her work in the dark comedy To the Bone and David
Fincher's biographical drama Mank.
Collins achieved global stardom as the title character, Emily Cooper,
in the hit Netflix romantic-comedy series Emily in Paris, a
performance that earned her a Golden Globe nomination and for which
she also serves as a producer. Expanding her creative reach, she
launched the production banner Case Study Films to champion
independent storytellers and made her West End theatrical debut in
London starring in the play Barcelona. Continuing her trajectory with
high-profile projects, she was cast to portray Hollywood icon Audrey
Hepburn in an upcoming biographical film focusing on the making of
