Virginia Gardner is an
American actress and model who grew up in Sacramento, California.
Developing an interest in the performing arts as a child, she
relocated to Los Angeles to pursue acting full-time. To balance her
career goals with her education, she transitioned to online schooling
and successfully passed the California High School Proficiency Exam.
Her early days in Hollywood were balanced between pursuing screen
opportunities and building a successful commercial modelling portfolio
for several major fashion and retail brands.
Gardner secured her first television guest appearances on popular
shows like Lab Rats, Glee, and The Goldbergs. She achieved her initial
cinematic milestone when she was cast as Christina Raskin in the
found-footage science fiction film Project Almanac. Her industry
presence expanded dramatically when she earned a starring role as the
light-manipulating hero Karolina Dean in the Hulu original series
Marvel's Runaways, a performance that garnered her widespread
recognition and praise for bringing a groundbreaking comic book
character to mainstream television.
Following her television success, Gardner established herself as a
prominent lead in film thrillers and popular romance dramas. She
starred in the successful survival horror film Fall and the horror
sequel Halloween, while also leading the romantic films Beautiful
Disaster and See You on Venus. Her versatile modern career continues
to flourish across streaming and cinematic platforms, featuring
prominent roles in the Western drama series 1923 and leading the
