BIOGRAPHY

Australian actress Geraldine Viswanathan has rapidly established herself as a distinct and versatile talent in global television and cinema. Raised in Newcastle, New South Wales, she developed a passion for performance and comedy at a young age. She honed her craft at the Hunter School of the Performing Arts, where she actively engaged in drama classes and later performed stand-up and sketch comedy in Sydney.

Her breakthrough came in 2018 with a widely praised, standout role in the American comedy film Blockers. This high-profile performance quickly opened doors in Hollywood, leading to critical acclaim for her titular performance in the coming-of-age drama Hala, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. Viswanathan further showcased her comedic timing and range by starring alongside Daniel Radcliffe and Steve Buscemi in the popular TBS anthology series Miracle Workers.

Continuing to expand her impressive portfolio, she has successfully bridged the gap between independent features and major studio productions. Viswanathan went on to land leading roles in films like The Broken Hearts Gallery and Drive-Away Dolls. Her steady rise in the entertainment industry has firmly solidified her status as one of Hollywood’s most compelling and dynamic young contemporary performers.
